Finn and friends/family

The last month or so Finn has seen a lot of people. He loves hangin' with others and it's fun to see him interact with other people.

The Pearsons: A two-car family

Turns out the Subaru just wasn't enough for our growing family, so we're finally making use of our two-car garage. Finn couldn't be happier.

Grandma's Birthday Weekend

Team Pearson went down to Okoboji a couple of weekends ago to visit the grand/great-grandparents.

Finn had lots of fun swimming at the YMCA and celebrating Grandma Teresa's birthday.

Funn times on the weekend

Finn had lots of fun this weekend! We set up his new swing in the backyard, which was an instant hit. We also went for a family bike ride to some neighborhood parks and Finn was a great passenger in the bike trailer. Also, as you'll see below, Grandpa Sam took him swimming in a hotel pool. (It wasn't Finn's first time swimming, just our first time with a camera handy.)

Delight in our child

Here's some new shots to give you your Finn fix that you've been craving!

In development news: Finn stood completely unassisted for five full seconds today. It was awesome.

Finn's Birthday Bash

Finn had a big birthday bash today that was a lot of fun. Here's a few photos:

When you ask, "Finn, how old are you?" he knows how to answer.

Here's a shot of most of the kids from the party. Children clockwise from Finn: Rachel, Evan, Jay, Abby, and Benjamin.

A shot of the happy family.

Fun Finn

Here's a couple photos of Finn that will warm up your otherwise cold and snowy day. (If you're in Minnesota, anyway.)

Big News

Maybe not exactly a blog worthy picture, but it conveys an important message. Yes, for those of you that haven't heard yet, Finn is going to be a big brother in October. He is very excited, even though he doesn't know it yet.

Our little nerd

Finn (read: Finn's parents) thought it would be fun to try on Grandma Nancy's glasses. What an adorable little nerd!

Finn's First Haircut

We decided it was time for Finn's first haircut. Below are the after shots. We think he looks pretty awesome. And props to Mickey who did the cut while I was at work - it turned out great.

Finn vs. the bookshelf

Here's Finn doing one of his favorite things these days: clearing off the bookshelves in search of his favorite books.

Another fun video

Here's a great video of a bunch of Finn's new skills: walking with a walker, giving kisses, and reacting to the exclamation, "Oh no!" Enjoy.

Sloppy Finn

Finn was thoroughly enjoying eating sloppy joes last week. Here's some fun video of the mess.

Finn vs. Kiwi

Although he ate the whole thing, Finn's first experience with a kiwi was pretty funny. Each time he took a bite, these were the faces he'd make. Then he'd grab another piece and do it all over again.

Being a big boy

These days Finn is doing more and more big boy things. Such as...using sign language to tell us he wants to eat, understanding and complying when we ask him to give us a kiss, pulling himself to standing, and insisting that we read the same book to him over and over and over again. Here are a few pictures of his recent attempt to feed himself. He's been practicing holding the spoon himself, which is always a mess, so I prepare by taking off his shirt and pants.
