A bunch of pictures for your viewing enjoyment

Here are some cute pictures of Finn. Sorry it takes us so long to post pictures - we always have good intentions to get them up quickly. But, we have a baby, so build a bridge and get over it, people.

We're back!

So, Blogger's been broken for quite a while (in the digital sense) and they're claiming that all should be better now. Let's hope this post-drought is behind us now.

To sate your unquenchable thirst for photos, I submit the following amazing shots. In the interim, Finn began eating solid food, which he took to quite well. Here's one of him during his first meal:

Here's another carseat photo for you to chart his growth:

And here's another one of him eating solids, this time it's yams, which you can tell he wasn't too sure about:

Poster Baby!

We think this could be an ad for the rice cereal. He really enjoys sitting in his highchair, which has made dinner time a lot of fun. He stares and giggles while Mickey and I eat.

Hello, is Finn there?

Here's Finn making important phone calls.

I love my feet!

Finn has recently discovered his feet and loves to eat them. We can't believe how flexible he is. He likes to suck on his big toe like it's his thumb.

Repaired!

Hooray! The blog is repaired! (Though Blogger.com is still struggling with some new features they tried to implement. Bear with us, please.)

Here's a cute pic that we couldn't post in the interim. He's amazingly beautiful.

Finally!

I know it has been awhile, but the blog has not been working lately. I also don't know why all the posts are showing up weird. Mickey doesn't either, so it must be something that is not eaily fixable. Finn is still awesome. In fact, every morning he wakes up even cooler.

Here is Finn looking pretty sweet, just chillin' and keepin' it real.

Finn's 3rd Wedding

Here are a few pictures from the wedding. Finn was a rock star! He was very well behaved. Photos courtesy of Adam Johnson.

Keely Posting Again

I decided Mickey is not posting enough photos, so I am taking things into my own hands.

Keely is learning to post on the Blog without Mickey's help

I think the title of this post says it all. I'm not even telling him I learned how - it's going to be a surprise. This is a picture of Finn at the incredibly fun and beautiful Senn/Mattson wedding. Posted by Picasa

By Chilean request...

Our friend Heather is currently living and studying abroad in Chile and requested that I post a photo of Finn and Jay Kyes. Regular blog visitors will remember Jay (if from nowhere else) from the post about Finn's birth.

BFF, indeed. Posted by Picasa

The incredible growing child, continued

Isn't it astonishing how fast Finn is growing? Here are pics from April and August, respectively, where he's making essentially the same face. I love to compare and contrast photos, so you are subjected to my whims.

(PS- Sorry about the new "word verification" on the comments section. We were getting some spam posts that I wanted to nip in the bud.) Posted by Picasa

A milestone fortuitously recorded

Today, on a whim, Keely and I decided to videotape Finn's morning playtime. Amazingly, Finn decided to roll over for the very first time! Here's the video:

Finally!

This downturned lip is a shot I've been trying desperately to capture for a couple of weeks ago. It may be a little sadistic to flaunt my child's sadness, but isn't that the cutest "sad face" you've ever seen?

Because updating has been so scarce this week and a half, here's a second photo of Finn. This time, he's studying up on a very important topic: how to sleep. He's getting far better at sleeping on his back and in his crib, but we still have some bumps in the road. Posted by Picasa

To satisfy the craving

Sorry about being delinquent about updating lately, though it is really par for the course, no? We've been working on a major re-landscaping project around the house and it has left me with little free time these last couple of days.
For today's update, I picked some more cute pics. (Isn't that all I ever do?)
In baby news, Finn has slept through the night 4 of the last 5 nights, with last night spent mostly in his crib, which is a first! Slowly but surely, he's getting used to sleeping on his back, which is a big improvement over the carseat.  Posted by Picasa

The Incredible Growing Child, pt. 2

Here is another two-picture, before-and-after post. Look at how enormous Finn is! What a sweet dude.  Posted by Picasa

What a difference a few days make!

So remember how Finn hates tummy-time? Not as much anymore. In fact, I was able to snap this astonishingly cute photograph as proof of his enjoyment.

He is also getting remarkably close to rolling over of his own volition. It's darn cool to see him choose to lay on his side. Posted by Picasa

Our baby's a growin!

It never ceases to amaze us how quickly Finn is growing. For those of you who need a better illustration of this fact, please consider the following pictures:

Exhibit A: Finn, just a scant 48 hours after being born, ready to go home for the first time.

Exhibit B: Finn in his carseat just last week flaunting his enormo-legs. Posted by Picasa

A view from the floor

WHAT?! Mickey updated the blog?

Sorry about the delay, folks. Other than my brief trip to the boundary waters, I don't really have an excuse other than: I am now a stay-at-home dad, preoccupied with my new domestic duties. (That is only half BS.) All has been going smoothly this first week of Mr. Mom-ing it. No major breakdowns on either of our parts, and Keely gets to see him during her lunch break so both she and Finn can eat.

Here's a cute shot of Finn in the midst of tummy-time, admittedly one of his least favorite activities.

Eco-baby

Look at our happy little hippie baby, hugging his stuffed tree. (Thanks, Amanda Young, for the awesome, handmade, one-of-a-kind stuffed tree.)

Keely and I really want Finn to have a clean, beautiful Earth to grow up in. On that note, you should go see An Inconvenient Truth, the new global warming documentary. It's really great and motivating.

Watch out, Mardi Gras '07!

A quickie for you all

Here's another, more serious expression from our boy Finn. (Obviously culled from the announcement photo shoot.)

I promise: the next post will a) come soon and b) be a more recent photo.

Classic Finn

For the photo update, here's an oldie (but goodie) from the growing Finn archives. It's pretty amazing how much he's grown in only 8 weeks.
